Microfluidic Scientist

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Microfluidics Specialist based in Lausanne. The specialist will design, develop, and optimize microfluidic systems for molecular wearable devices. Responsibilities include prototyping, device testing, and integrating microfluidic systems with sensors. The candidate will also collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to meet functionality and performance goals, analyze experimental data, and implement innovative solutions.
Qualifications
1) Proven track record in surface-wettability engineering, with strong expertise in materials science, fluid physics, and dynamics at the micro- and nanoscale. Demonstrated experience in plant-inspired and bio-inspired microfluidic systems. Experience with open and digital/droplet microfluidics.
2) strong theoretical foundation in fluid mechanics and interfacial physics. Solid knowledge of fluid dynamics, with prior experience developing wearable or healthcare-related devices.
